Tried most of the duplicate finding apps, this is the only one that worked for me. liberated around 5GB from well over 20,000 files and photos.

I had Gemeni on another system, and went to the app store to download it, and came across this one. I would have just gone for Gemeni again, but this one was on sale at the time, and for $3, I thought I’d give it a try. Wow. This thing isn’t just fast, it’s buckle up your seatbelt and get a white-knuckled grip on the safety handles kind of fast! So glad I tried this out, and very happy with the results - to the point that I’d buy it at full price now that I know what it is actually capable of. Thanks for the app ;)

I’ve asked it to scan a folder of MP3 files for duplicates, but it seems the only thing it’s checking is the file size. Even though I have looked at many of the files it says are “duplicates”, they are completely different songs even though the file size is the same. They say they are using SHA-1 checksums to determine duplicates, but the files they say are duplicates have completely different checksums (I double-checked to see if there was a slight chance they were the same). Unless someone can explain this inconsistency to me, I would think that this utility only looks at file size to determine duplicates.

your app is junk it doesn’t work with PHOTOS for mac I wasted my money

Never have time to clear up as you go? This is a great app, not only is it fast, but it is easy to use too. Gives you plenty of options to back out as you move through the process in case you want to change your mind! Highly recommend it.

It’s a really usefull app: i’ve just cleaned 17 GB of duplicates from itunes that i’d swear i’ve no idea how they got there. I do not use this app often since i’m usually quite tidy but when i need duplicate screening and cleaning its just unique.

When I buy an app I don’t want to see an ad after second time I open the app. If I bough something — I got what I need and no longer looking for anything else. Please reconsider.

Does what it says it does. Due to syncing over time, iPhone, iPad, wi-fi sync, new phones, etc… some photos end up being duplicated. Until now, it was a major pain to try and remove them (one at a time), and in some cases, the duplicates would appear in different places on my timeline. It took about 45 seconds to find the duplicates, a few minutes of me verifying that the duplicates were indeed that (yes, it compares size, timestamps), and that was it. For a very reasonable price, it did it all quickly, accurately, and moved the duplicates to the trash (where I COULD recover if I felt the program didn’t do it’s job, but it did). Free space heaven. Can’t give enough praise for this product. I checked a few of the 1 star reviews, and they are just ‘feature requests’; really don’t understand why they downgraded the product because they would like to have X, Y, or Z feature. The product does exactly what it says it does. Quickly, accurately, reasonable price.

This program was working wonderfully when I was scanning small folders, but I bought it primarily to clean out duplicates in my music and photo libraries. And those are huge libraries. I tried to get through each library multiple times, but every single time it crashed and froze my computer completely. Pretty bummed out I spent the money since I can’t get it to work for the folders that actually need it the most.

Ive tried many duplicate finders over the years, some could be rather frustrating, but I was surprised by this. It works quickly and easy to navigage with keyboard or mouse. Helped me free up almost 6GB of stuff I had accidentally duplicated when moving to new drives over the years.

Used it to try to clean out very large folders, very slow and ended up freezing and locking up the entire computer each time. Used up all the available memory Late 13 Mac Pro (64 GB Ram). Have to restart to get it to quit running.
