Crashes my computer bad - poor workflow

This program must have some kind of memory hole - it very quickly eats up my application memory on folders of just a few dozen gig. This is on a new macbook pro with 16gig of ram.

others have pointed out the usability issues - stops the scan if you try to check out how it’s doing, etc. I also caught it saying two files were dupes when they were exactly the same size - but different names and completely different content: which means it mis-labels some files as dupes which are not dupes. Dangerous!
